Fund Raisers
How you can support our team!
During the year the parent boosters raise funds in a variety of ways. The majority of the funds are used to finance our annual banquet and awards celebration. Your contributions, support, and participation are important to our success. Listed below are the fund raising activities.
Annual Banquet Basket Donation
Baskets and basket items are collected for a Tricky Tray at our
annual end of season banquet and awards celebration.
Swim-a-thon
Last season’s Swim-a-Thon was held on Friday, January 22,
2010 at Morristown High School. Over $2,300 was raised that will be placed
in the Van Laskos Memorial Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are
awarded each year at our annual banquet. Thanks to all the
swimmers for their contributions and efforts. [Note:
The Daily Record reported $13,000 was raised in 2010 but at that time
the actual amount was $1,300. An extra zero was added to the
amount in the story.]
Spirit Ads
Spirit ads are placed in event programs that are sold at major swim meets such as the county championships. Business, individuals, and parents can purchase ads. These ads are included in the event programs sold at any major meet that we host.
Spirit Ad Sales are closed for the 2009-2010 season. Thanks for your support!!!
Food and Drink Concessions
Food and drinks are sold at all major swim meets that we host such as the Morris County Championships. Your contributions of food, drinks, and supplies provide the product that we sell. All proceeds benefits the swim team.
Restaurant Nights
We occasional sponsor team nights at local restaurants. Those restaurants usually agree to give us a percentage of the purchases on that night as result of our sponsorship. Your patronage at those establishments on the swim team nights provides us with additional funds.
